The Mango Spanish Curriculum is designed to promote students’ Spanish language acquisition through a conversation-based methodology that reinforces grammar, vocabulary, culture, and pronunciation. The curriculum is composed of 40 chapters divided among four school years (complementing Spanish 1, 2, 3, and 4), with each semester covering 5 chapters. Each chapter is further divided into lessons with each chapter averaging 7 lessons. Each year of the curriculum contains roughly 180 hours of content divided between the chapters.
The Mango Curriculum is currently in development. We have over 20 chapters of content available across Spanish 1, 2, and 3, with additional chapters for these years as well as content for Spanish 4 coming soon.
The Mango Spanish Curriculum will be available for adoption for the 2025-2026 school year. At this time, limited sample materials are available for evaluation. We are also providing access to all curriculum content to select participants who are interested in piloting the curriculum in their classrooms and providing feedback on their experience.

Mango Classroom is our digital language learning platform, which includes conversation-based lessons, reading and listening activities, daily review, vocabulary lists, quizzes, and more. The software includes 41 chapters of thematically-organized content that follow a progression from Novice Low to Intermediate High. Student progress is tracked for digital lessons, and quizzes are auto-graded in real time. This information is displayed in the teacher dashboard and can be exported via CSV.
Mango Curriculum is a comprehensive curriculum that expands on the topics found in Mango Classroom with additional in-class activities and projects that increase the breadth of content (vocabulary and grammar) and provide sufficient practice with the concepts for students to build confidence and reach proficiency. Classroom activities touch all three modes of communication (interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational) and all four language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening), and target ACTFL’s World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages (WRSLL).
Effectively, the Mango Curriculum makes use of our digital platform as its backbone and then enhances it by adding thousands of activities targeting different areas of linguistic and cultural competence in order to form a core world language curriculum for K12 classrooms.
