My lesson won't load with refresh error message.

Some users accessing Mango Languages through a browser have seen the following error message upon opening a lesson: "Oh no! We tried loading your lesson but it didn't work. Refresh the page and try again."

If refreshing the page does not work, please try clearing your cache to remedy this issue. In order to do so, follow these instructions:

Google Chrome

Follow these instructions in order to clear your cache using Google Chrome:

  1. Click on the three dot icon to the right of the address bar. An icon with three vertical dots
  2. A drop down menu will appear.  Find and highlight More Tools.
  3. A few options will pop out.  Select Clear Browsing Data.
  4. Make sure to Clear Data for "All time" and not a specific time period.
  5. Go back to your lesson in Mango Languages and refresh the page.

Safari

Follow these instructions in order to clear your cache using Safari:

  1. In the task bar at the top of the screen, click Safari
  2. A drop down menu will appear.  Find and click Preferences.
  3. A pop out box will appear.  Select the tab Privacy.
  4. Click the button Manage Website Data.
  5. A scroll down list will appear.  At the bottom select Remove All.
  6. Go back to your lesson in Mango Languages and refresh the page.

Mozilla Firefox

Follow these instructions in order to clear your cache using Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Click on the three line icon to the right of the address bar. An icon with three horizontal lines
  2. A drop down menu will appear.  Find and click Preferences.
  3. A page will open with a few options on the left.  Select Privacy & Security.
  4. Scroll down and find Cached Web Content
  5. Click the button that says Clear Now.
  6. Go back to your lesson in Mango Languages and refresh the page.

Microsoft Edge

Follow these instructions in order to clear your cache using Microsoft Edge:

  1. Click on the three line icon (Hub icon) to the right of the address bar. An icon with three irregular horizontal lines
  2. A menu will appear from the right.  Find and click the history icon. An icon with the image of a clock
  3. Your browser history will be displayed. Click where it says Clear All History
  4. Check the boxes “Cookies and saved website data” and “Cached data and files” and click the button Clear.
  5. Go back to your lesson in Mango Languages and refresh the page.
