Fresco - Get Students Talking

Getting Students Talking

Your students will be speaking Spanish from Day 1

Mango’s software has always focused on teaching conversational skills that get learners speaking. With Fresco, students practice those skills in every lesson through realistic, engaging, meaning-focused tasks.

Building a Foundation through Digital Lessons: Mango’s digital lessons provide guided, low-stakes conversational practice that helps students build confidence and prepare for meaningful classroom communication.
Focus on Meaning & Task-Based Learning: Meaning-focused interpersonal activities guide students to apply their skills in realistic scenarios, like introducing friends, eating out, and talking about current events. Through task-based activities, students use Spanish to work together towards a shared goal.
Classic Activities with a Twist: Fresco incorporates classic classroom activities, like Find Someone Who or High Five, Buddy Up, to get students up and moving and talking to each other. These highly engaging activities support active participation among students and increase motivation.
A Gradual Path to the 90/10 Rule: English supports novice learners early on, while Spanish is increasingly incorporated until instruction is conducted almost entirely in the target language by Fresco 4.
