Explore Tab

Explore Tab Selected

The Explore tab connects you with features that will stretch your language skills and expand your cultural horizons. The Explore tab is only available for certain languages and the content will vary depending on the type of access you have. Therefore, depending on the language you have selected and type of access you have, you may see some of the following:

Interactive Reading Passages

Mango's Interactive Reading Passages are a feature that lets learners read authentic content in their target language — written by native speakers and covering a mix of genres like articles, blogs, stories, songs, podcasts, and videos — designed to sit just above the learner's current level. Mango Mindware

Mango Mindware is a guided meditation feature Mango Languages offers alongside its regular courses. It's built around the idea of using meditation, hypnosis, and affirmations to improve cognitive functions like memory, focus, and creativity, on the theory that strengthening those mental faculties helps learners absorb and retain a new language more effectively, regardless of whether they're studying through classes, apps, or immersion.

Mango Music

Mango Music is a collection of original songs Mango Languages offers alongside its regular courses. Each track is written and composed by Mango's linguist team, then musically produced with the help of AI, and styled to match the cultural musical traditions of the language it's teaching. The songs span a wide range of topics, giving learners a fun, engaging way to pick up vocabulary and phrasing through music rather than a standard lesson format.

Mango Reader

Mango Reader is Mango Languages' free Chrome browser extension that lets users read foreign-language websites with built-in translation support. Once installed and linked to a Mango Languages account, it turns any webpage into a language-learning opportunity: users can double-click or select a word or phrase they don't recognize and instantly see its English translation, along with extra detail like verb conjugation tables and pronunciation audio. Anything a user looks up can be saved with one click to their personal vocabulary list in Mango, which then syncs with the app's flashcard and spaced-repetition review system for later practice. Get it for free HERE.

Little Pim

Little Pim is Mango Languages' language-learning program for young children ages 0–6, consisting of a collection of short, five-minute videos that combine animation with live-action footage and feature an animated panda as the on-screen instructor. Each video introduces everyday vocabulary through repetition and native-speaker narration, covering themes such as mealtime, playtime, and counting.
