To access your microphone settings in a Google Chrome browser, follow these steps:
- In the URL bar at the top of the screen find the Video or Microphone icon and click on it.
- In the pop-out box that appears, select “Allow...”.
- Click the “Done” button.
- Refresh the Mango Languages page.
To access your microphone settings in a Safari browser, follow these steps:
- At the top of the screen, click on "Safari".
- In the pop-out box that appears, select Settings > Websites > Microphone.
- Make sure to select “Allow” for the Mango Languages website.
To access your microphone settings in a Mozilla Firefox browser, follow these steps:
- To the right of the URL bar at the top of the browser window, click on the hamburger icon (three horizontal lines stacked) and select "Settings".
- In Settings, click on “Privacy & Security” on the left.
- In "Privacy & Security", scroll down to the "Permissions" sub-menu.
- Under "Permissions", click the "Settings" button next to "Microphone".
- Make sure “learn.mangolanguages.com” is allowed.
NOTE: Alternatively, if you blocked the microphone for Mango Languages, with the Voice Comparison feature open, click on the slashed out microphone on the left of the URL bar and click "Blocked Temporarily". Then, refresh the page and try the Voice Comparison feature again.
To access your microphone settings in a Microsoft Edge browser, follow these steps:
- Go to a website that wants to use your microphone and/or camera.
- If a dialog box appears asking if you want to give the website permission to use your camera or microphone, select Allow. To block access, select Block, or close the dialog box.
