No Sound

If you are experiencing no sound in the Mango program, it's likely a setting on your device that you need to change. Here are some things to check:

No sound on a Mobile Device:

  • If you are using a mobile device (smartphone or tablet), make sure to use the mobile app, not Mango in a browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.). Download the app HERE.
  • With the app open, make sure your phone's volume is turned up.
  • Check if your device is connected to bluetooth earbuds or headphones.

No sound on a Computer:

  • Check that your speakers are on and the volume is turned up.
  • Turn off "Do Not Disturb".
  • Make sure the browser tab is not muted.
  • On a Mac, try pressing F10 on your keyboard (which mutes/unmutes your entire computer).
  • Make sure you hear audio from other websites. Not other apps, other websites.
  • Try clearing your cache.
  • Try using Mango Languages in an incognito window.
  • Switch to another browser.
  • Check that your internet browser is up-to-date.
